Contents for the exam (2º BTO B)

The contents for the mid-term exam (23 Feb) are the following:

  •  Vocabulary
    • Vocabulary: Units 1-4
    • Phrasal verbs
    • Prefixes and suffixes
    • Extra vocabulary (to be delivered in class next Friday)
  • Grammar
    • Tenses: present simple, present continuous, present perfect (simple and continuous), past simple, past continuous, past perfect (simple and continuous), "going to" future, "will" future, future continuous, future perfect (simple and continuous).
    • Reported Speech
    • Concessive clauses
    • Adjectives: compound adjectives. Position. Comparative and superlative.
    • Comparative clauses: double comparatives and proportional comparison.
    • Passive voice. Impersonal passive
    • Causative "have" and "get"
    • Adverbs of manner and degree
As usual, the exam will also consist of writing, listening and reading comprehension exercises.

In order to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death we are going to work in class with the following quotes:
