The contents for the mid-term exam (23 Feb) are the following:
- Vocabulary
- Vocabulary: Units 1-4
- Phrasal verbs
- Prefixes and suffixes
- Extra vocabulary (to be delivered in class next Friday)
- Grammar
- Tenses: present simple, present continuous, present perfect (simple and continuous), past simple, past continuous, past perfect (simple and continuous), "going to" future, "will" future, future continuous, future perfect (simple and continuous).
- Reported Speech
- Concessive clauses
- Adjectives: compound adjectives. Position. Comparative and superlative.
- Comparative clauses: double comparatives and proportional comparison.
- Passive voice. Impersonal passive
- Causative "have" and "get"
- Adverbs of manner and degree
As usual, the exam will also consist of writing, listening and reading comprehension exercises.
